One more step: reconnect OneDrive.
Hi there, now that your login is your new @flute.com address, the OneDrive desktop app needs a one-time nudge to pick up the new login. It won't switch on its own. The fix takes about a minute, and nothing happens to your files.
Reconnect in six quick steps
Open the OneDrive icon
Click the OneDrive cloud icon in your system tray (bottom-right on Windows, top menu bar on Mac). If you don't see it, click the small arrow to show hidden icons.
Go to Settings
Click the gear icon, then choose Settings.
Open the Account tab
Select Account at the top of the Settings window.
Unlink this PC
Click Unlink this PC, then confirm. This only disconnects the sync link, it doesn't touch your files.
Sign back in with your new address
OneDrive will reopen and ask you to sign in. Use your new @flute.com address. Same password as today.
Keep the existing folder
When it asks where your OneDrive folder lives, keep the one that's already there. Choose Use this folder if prompted, rather than picking a new location. OneDrive reconnects to your files in place, and that's it.
Your files are not at risk
Unlinking only breaks the connection between OneDrive and your account. Your files stay on your computer and in the cloud the whole time. Signing back in simply reconnects them, nothing is deleted or moved.
